LA CONVENIRE by ECLETTICA

Derived from the Latin word *convenire*, a Coven or La Convenire is a coming together of 13 to worship or to celebrate. Why 13, you ask? Probably in deference to the theories of prominent Egyptologist Margaret Murray, 13 was perceived as an optimal number for such a gathering.

I instantly visualised high priestesses and Macbeth's sisters and other such fey beings; cavorting and casting spells and performing magical rituals, all within a fantasy realm like no other.

Fascinating. Absolutely fascinating. Little wonder I simply *had* to create my personal interpretation of La Convenire, yes?

My gathering of 13 magickal elements begins with the (1st) Chalice-shaped pendant tumbling from a (2nd) Bali Silver Bead that looks like an amazing cross between the Star of David and the Eye of Horus. Amidst the organic (and seemingly) random placements of coiled vines around the Chalice, drape the following (3rd to 10th, from left to right) magnificent Premium Gems:-

> Oregon Opal Round, with intense opalescence, cushioned with a single Silver Keishi Pearl

> Sorbet Green Prehnite Briolette, the sides of which feature a highly unusual criss-cross pattern

> Labradorite in a generously plump Briolette, featuring a super schiller effect
