So I've been watching The Amazing Race (Eve and I are absolutely besotted with it :P) and we've just seen teams battling it out in Jaipur aka The Pink City.
For those of you who are fans of all things India-esque, I expect your delicately plucked brows have been raised somewhat and you're thinking, "Duh Sheela, everyone knows that", am I right??? Well, despite having an Indian name AND living within the same continent, let's just say now I know :D
Jaipur's like a fantasy world, those amazing castles and forts (the same location used for many of the scenes shown in Cheetah Girls One World, the movie), the gorgeous arches and walkways, that entire sensation of having wandered into a dream, into another time and place.
And there's even a real life Maharaja!!
Oh my gosh!!
Positively inspiring, and now you might be asking where this is all leading to? To the actualisation of a necklace (fingers crossed within today) done completely in 14K Rose Gold and tons of other pink things :)

I love your artist influences and I also like watching Amazing Race also. Last Season was a good season.
